How does your service work
- First thing to do is to send a WhatsApp or give me a call to get an instant quotation
- To speed thing up you can supply or have ready the following information:
- Make model, year, and engine capacity of your car
- Send a photo of you battery if possible
- Does your car have Automatic Start-Stop technology. Ie does it switch off when you stop at the robot and automatically start again when you step on the gas?
- Which area you are in
- Next I will then send you a quotation
- If you are happy with the price you will send me your address details and pin location and I will book you in and give you an ETA (Estimated Arrival Time)
- On arrival I will first test your battery to see if it is faulty or if it can be salvaged
- If your battery is faulty we will replace it with a new battery,
- Once I have replaced your battery, I will do the necessary diagnostic to ensure a healthy charging system.
- Next – for the cars that require it, I will register or programme the battery with the car BMS (battery management system).
- Next is easy payment via card machine. At the moment we do not accept fleet cards, however all other major cards are accepted
- Lastly, I will issue your receipt and warranty.
How long is your lead time (ETA)
Most of the time we are able to sassist with in an hour to an hour and a half. Some days are just crazy and we get fully booked by lunchtime, in those cases, the lead time may be a little longer. In all cases though we keep you up to date with our progress and how long you still have to wait.
I will always let you know as soon as I am on my way to you.
Do you accept card payments?
Yes as a matter of fact we prefer card payments, but will accept cash if that is what clients insist on. We make use of the Yoco payment system, they are a secure and reliable transaction processing company with a great sucurity track record.
We accept most major cards, but sadly do not accept fleet cards at this point.
Can I come pick up a battery from your shop
No, battery for you is a mobile only battery service. We spacialise in going out and assisting our customers on site. Clients that drive to our premises might arrive when I am not there which is just a waste of time.
Rather book a time with me to come to you, or if you are a DIY type person, it is better to visit an battery shop.
Do you program the battery?
Yes for all the cars that havew a BMS (battery management system) we program/register/code the battery to the cars system to ensure the correct charging voltages are applied to the newly installed battery.
